Chinese Consul General in Belfast Li Nan Meets with Mid and East Antrim's New Mayor

On 3 August, Consul General Li Nan met with Mid and East Antrim's New Mayor, Alderman Thomas Gordon, to exchange views on further strengthening cooperation between China and Northern Ireland.

Consul General Li congratulated Alderman Gordon on his new appointment and noted that in recent years, China and Mid and East Antrim have achieved fruitful results in cooperation across a range of areas, including trade and economy, education, and culture and tourism. The Consulate General in Belfast stands ready to continue to play its role to deepen friendly exchanges, consolidate the foundation of the sister-city relationship, and contribute at the local level to the healthy and stable development of China-UK relations.
